wtf. where are the posts, hotties?

sotomayer is confirmed, watson (of the famous duo) thinks we can cure cancers in the next decade and the american psychological association rejects gay-to-straight aimed therapy...so, it's time for a break folks... after all, if congress gets a recess, why shouldn't we?

august, probably the hottest month of the year in our neck of the woods, is off for the hotties. we know there will be plenty of stuff that will make us throw our hands up and ask, "are you there god? wtf?" but, we've decided to keep it to ourselves this month.

we promise to be back in september and hopefully hotter than ever (or at least tanner). in the meantime, we encourage you to use our comment space to post your own wtfs, and as the yearbook notes say "hope to see you next year."

way to go census!

this so cool! the US census is going to count married same-sex couples in the 2010 census. this is a reversal of bush era policy. this more than a fabulous symbolic gesture. as many of you know, the numbers from the census are used for research and policy by so many groups. yay!
